So i got a pair of Dell Vostro 1520 Laptops for work.
I decided to order then identical but for a Mobility Solid State Drive.
Here is a video of them both booting (2nd boot - have already configured windows on both machines - no applications or settings have been configured on either machine).
The specs on the machines:
- Dell(TM) Vostro(TM) 1520
-Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz, 3M L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB)
-4GB (2GB x 2) 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM Memory
-NVIDIA(R) GeForce 9300M 256MB
and
-320GB SATA (7200RPM) FFS Hard Drive vs -128GB Mobility Solid State Drive
harddrive slow as hell ;)

@REDTEAM22003 HDD are frustratingly slow though, however I'd agree with you they are not ready for mainstream yet so Id spend my money elsewhere. Can't wait for SSD to be common though, my life would be so much easier :)

how much money did you put for that .40sec vs .70sec?
I rather get the .70sec laptop and with the rest of my money shop at Ross....and with the rest of that money buy something to eat.
