Yes in sims 3 cars are going past every minute or so, also walk or drive to the park or somewhere and there are normally many people walking around. (depends on what timeof the day it is)

Yes, you can carry your baby in your arms and walk around, eevn out of the house and down the road. I got bored once and put him down in the middle of the road, and i also built a wall around my swimming ball so my kid couldnt get out and he drowned. Tehe. *pfft*
