Cover version of the Moby Grape classic, released on the "Visions of Excess" album in 1985 (If I remember correctly I bought this as an import in 86/87 as it never had a UK issue at the time). The Golden Palominos were Anton Fier's band & this album featured a lot of top notch guests including Michael Stipe (vocals on this track) Richard Thompson,Syd Straw ,John Lydon, jack Bruce,Bill Laswell etc.
It was released on the "Celluloid" label...hope you enjoy the tune!!
@NewGods101 No, it's Henry Kaiser playing the solo and the rhythm guitarist was Chris Stamey of the dB's. There might have been another guitarist on there, but if there was it was probably Jody Harris. RT definitely didn't play on this track. (Although he did play in a supergroup with Henry Kaiser a couple of years later.)

I've gone through about three copies of this album. Fantastic cover. I remember listening to Henry Kaiser's solo over and over again and trying to work out how in god's name he did it. I also remember playing it to my friends in the school garage band I belonged to, in the hope that they'd like it, and they all fucking hated it.

Great cover; Moby Grape was far better than most its contemporaries that made it big.
