This man is wrong. The principles of evolution on a macro level, species, has never been proved or observed. Even the simplest smallest lifeforms are incredibly complex and it is a biochemic machinery of mindboggling complexity. And you can't reduce it to simpler parts, all parts must be there for the living cell system to function. To think that a cell like this formed from dead matter out of chance or as an accident is the most outrageous religion ever. It must have been created by God.

@allsaintsmonastery Now, it is a Pentium 4. I fully expect that one day, all on its own, my desktop computer will morph into a laptop, because it "knows" that it must be mobile to survive in today's environment. AND... The software brain that runs the machine has also evolved, all by itself. It once was DOS 6.0 software, but that soon evolved into Windows 95, then Windows 98, then Windows ME, then Windows XP, and finally, it has morphed into Windows Vista.----

God created everything in the blink of an eye? Well that kind of contradicts the Genesis account where God created everything in six days. And since evolution involves reproduction, which computers cannot do, I don't see how it is more likely that computers evolved than it is that organisms did.

@AgnosticTheist1 It does work, and the sad thing is, you believe DNA which makes super computers look like 2+2, believe evolved. There is ZERO proof for evolution, NOTHING evolved. God created everything in a blink of an eye.

How is saying that God used evolution "taking away from his power?" God doesn't have to micro-manage every natural law. For example, God created the natural law that allows for the weather cycle and yet this does not mean that God literally wills every individual raindrop to fall. And I still say that your analogy doesn't work because computers don't have DNA.

@AgnosticTheist1 No it ain't, God created the world in a mature state, just as They(The Holy Trinity) created Adam and Eve in a mature state, to say God used evolution is taking away from his power. And there is actually a higher chance of my PC turning into a iphone then cells evolving.

Computers do not have DNA, nor do they reproduce, so that analogy does not work. Besides, evolution does not state that life "appeared on its own." It is possible to believe that God created the natural laws that governed evolution.

@allsaintsmonastery my grade school teacher taught humans came from monkeys. High school it was birds. College, one celled amoebas. Each INSISTING their theory was FACT at the time. No questions asked. Each insisting the earth was a certain age different from the next, and now I'm hearing 15billion yrs old? 10 years from now what is it going to be?1 trillion yrs old?500 million yrs old? These are THEORIES not FACTS you teach.Do you really know how old the earth is? You teach as if you do.

@allsaintsmonastery You are the first monk I've come across to use name calling to get your points across. This is strange to me. You throw out "15 billion" as if you where there in the beginning? Why is it that when you lay out your "facts" about the earth and man you can't look up at the camera? Why are you using your bronze globe as a shield between you and the camera? Could it be your feeding us non truths when you insist you KNOW how old the earth is? God help us.
