esde el año 1983 y hasta el 1989, 337 obreras de la empresa Jaeger Ibérica (filial dela FIAT), actual Magneti Marelli, de Barberá del Vallés en Barcelona (España) lucharon contra la discriminación salarial que sufrían respecto a sus compañeros. Hicieron de todo, para que la empresa aplicase la sentencia que ganaban reiteradamente en los tribunales. Pioneras en España en este tipo de luchas, influenciaron a otras empresas como la Puig o galletas Fontaneda. Cambiar la sociedad se hace cambiando...uno mismo y su entorno...ellas lo hicieron y nos lo demostraron.
From 1983 till 1989, 337 women factory workers of JAEGER IBERICA (a subsidiary of FIAT) currently known as Magnetti Marelli, in Barberá del Valles just outside of Barcelona, Spain fought against salary discrimination that they were receiving compared with their fellow male work mates. They did everything they possibly could, in order to make the company apply the sentence that they won repeatedly in court.
They were pioneers in Spain with this sort of battle, they influenced other big companies such as the perfumes PUIG and the biscuit company FONTANEDA.
