@05loveangel as so many other people said, its not all about who is better, its about how you feel when you're on the dance floor showing what you got. Its about how it makes you feel when you dance, when you share your stuff to other dancers and the crowd that came from all over to watch what us dancers have. Its about sharing to the people of all our hard work of picking that shawl & spending many hours of practice we have put in, showing our pride as first nations. Well thats how it is for me

(for all the right reasons) the only reason i dance is for my elders and people who cannot dance, i also dance for my mom who is not here anymore. you shouldnt care if you win or lose all that really matters is if you love to dance and just be out there and having fun. ive been dancing since i could walk, and i dont say im better than anyone else thats rude.

i've ALWAYS had a problem with double beat...i quit dancing a few years back. im really thinking about getting back in shape and busting my ass to get back into it mainly for my young son. heck yes ! =]

im a dancer and it sucks becasue i cant dance doubel beat yet :/ and iv been a dancer since i was a lil girl i never really cared for it but htie year im gonnabust a msision and practice it all the time .

i think that they were dancing so slow is because it's the WOMENs fancy shawl, usually the teens and kids are spinning all over the place lol

I love watching the dancers (i cannot dance myself) but when i watch i feel i am with them, they take me into their world as they move - its beautiful.

@ 05loveangle I am a southern women's traditional dancer.....I have danced for 21.6 years, starting at 6 months old......I know I am a great dancer, but what a lot of people forget, is that there is always going to be at least 2-3 people in your category for contest that are better than you.....it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you dance.....
