The song was written in 1927 by the Gershwins for the Broadway production of "Funny Face". It was subsequently used in "American In Paris" and the film version of "Funny Face". This is a standard recorded by too many to mention, but Joe does a great job with it backed by Basie's band.
The incomparable Sonny Payne on drums!
