The song was written in 1927 by the Gershwins for the Broadway production of "Funny Face". It was subsequently used in "American In Paris" and the film version of "Funny Face". This is a standard recorded by too many to mention, but Joe does a great job with it backed by Basie's band.

    Excellent!

  • thanks for the good quality on this recording!! this is the greatest version of this song, contrast with joão gilberto's version.

  • For me, this song will always remind me of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face !
