This was steeper than the video shows. Me navagating some good size boulders going down the mountain to the bridge (going over the river at bottom) that will lead to the next climb (ridge on the right side in the beginning). This was one of the more technical parts of this Appalachian trail hike on 6/27/09. Little Gap to Bake Oven Knob. There were some sixty year olds in the group! It was only a 15 mile "trek". So I have much respect for those who have completed the entire trail which goes from Maine to Georgia for those who don't know.

  • And then you walk 2 miles on highway to go to Palmerton. Be sure to use south side of highway to walk to Palmerton.

  • Aw you did not find any nests I assume? I wish I could have come. Looks beautfiul!
