@misterludakris We are all entitled to our own opinions, but there is also a respectful way to go about sharing your thoughts/comments. Liz is doing the SAME thing you do... she doesn't have a use for something, so she is giving these items away. I don't really understand where your harsh, judgmental comments are coming from? You seem very confused, and you may not be "mental" but you sure as hell are RUDE.

Every 3 og 4 month i meet up with 12 of my best friends - we bring things we don't have use for anymore, clothes, makeup, bath products, jewlery and so on - then the others can take what they like, and what we have left we give away.
Each time it surprises me how much we have with us since last.

Hello, Love your message in this vid! I want to introduce myself, I'm Andrea from Hawaii & we have so much of the same interests. I'm a 85% raw foodist & love beauty & love fitness & simpler cultures other than the American consumerism way. I've really been trying to simplify so this was good for me to hear. Its funny I originally found you months ago when researching retin a on youtube. Had no idea then that you were into all this great stuff! One question, are you still using retin A? Thanks!

For everyone else who is contemplating doing something similar, instead of wastefully throwing your items away, it's better to just use up the products and donate/give away the clothing. Also, for paper waste (such as old notebooks, homework, and old magazines), be sure to recycle. I'm going through a decluttering/purging myself and this is what's I'm doing.

Going through the bathroom cabinets are definitely liberating. I've just done that myself & rather than throw the stuff away, I donated a carload of hairsprays, gels I've never used, conditioner, fragrances, sweaters, jeans, makeup, nail polishes to a battered women's shelter. Women who walk away (or rather run) from lives of abuse w/just the shirts on their back & their kids. They have nothing! We <3 to girltalk about our hauls, makeup tips & we laugh. Their lives are so bleak & we CAN help! :)

Yes, we all try to fill the empty space we feel inside by buying and buying. As eternal spirit souls, we will never find what we're looking for in matter. We need to look to our eternal spiritual interests, not temporary distractions.

Isn't it called minimalism?
You can own nothing and still be trapped...the objects are not the problem, the problems are in what we think.

@aliciav63 You´re right. I´ve changed the way that I think and therefore I realize I don´t need half the stuff I own. (;

Liz, you really inspire me to do the same. I have tons of clothes and things that I would also want to give away and I simply cannot just throw them away because I know that others can benefit from them. I am in Spain as well, Barcelona to be exact and I have no idea where to give these items to. I see you've packed everything up and they are going somewhere... do you have any advice on any place in Spain that would take them? Thanks so much!

@macluver1000 They do have thrift shops but I´m not sure where in Barcelona. I personally know a few girls who don´t have much and that´s who my stuff goes to. (;
