One of the greatest voices and talents of ANY time. We are here for the music and the voice and not the mannerisms. There is no other singer as great as Dionne Warwick is in her genre. A bright and sparkling master class diva. Admit to yourselves we all can be difficult and bitchy at times. People enjoy her voice and keep the personal comments in check..

@eveville1 Read my previous message about the plane flight. We were at the Sydney Opera House and she did her set, complained about being tired and left. Did the same thing at the Hilton years ago. NEVER an encore. It is as if they call out from the wings "the cheque cleared" and she is gone.I saw her backstage in a purple tracksuit and she was as cold as ice. Great singer, but never meet these types as they may dash one's images on the rocks.

I happen to know what a trooper Dionne has been when performance

facilities "fell short". Once her luggage was lost when she was to appear in Muncie, IN in 1965 at Ball State. She came in and performed in her shorts and

knee socks. (I saw a picture of that..great legs!!) I do know that Whitney Houston be very demanding though. Dionne LOVES her fans and makes sure

they are entertained. She is fabulous!!!

@sandradancefeva Horrible but true, sandradancefeva. A friend who is a cabin manager on United had a problem with her on a flight to South America. Apparently a bit drunk or something (??) and all over a female flight attendant she took a fancy to. They did not quite know how to handle the matter. A lot of very sexual groping and lesbotic behaviour. I still like her singing but she has some attitude issues, putting it mildly. Plus wandering hands....

No pretense. Are you joking? It was an outdoor concert and she was going to walk off because she was a little cold. So she forced the conductor to give her his jacket. Forget that he was cold. She is wonderful singer but a huge twat. Major bitch. And there was never a bigger phoney. They call out that the cheque has cleared and she is off the stage like a flash. The audience can clap and scream but she has gone. Charming. So warm. I have seen her five times. A dyke too...
