Ice Cube is just being respectful, of course new generations of kids are going to take the rap game in a new direction, doesnt mean that it will be in a more talented path, nor will it guarantee that hiphop will evolve to greater heights.

But I can see what Cube is saying. Deep down though I am sure he wishes hiphop was still churning out talented mcees as back in the day he was making music. You can tell his sentiments are clear, but of course he cant diss new skool out of respect not awe.
