Hurrr durrr the 2 stroke engine was the dirtiest. 2 stroke engines have 2 stroke OIL mixed in with the FUEL. What the fuck were you smoking when you thought up this concept?

Would have been interesting to have normalised the results to the volume of exhaust gas emitted for each engine. The truck might have had the lowest HC but it would also have put out the greatest volume of exhaust, so actual quantity of HC for each would have been useful.

They don't talk about carbond daioxide emissions here. I bet the raptor was highest.

They did the full range on both vehicles. I can see why the Fiat would be dirtier though, ford has to worry about getting their customers a guzzler tax and Fiat has to worry about how much money their drivers are putting into the tank.

That is because of the power they are trying to get out of the car. Diesel race cars can race much longer than those without diesel.
