Call Forwarding with the 8x8 6755i IP Phone

To set up Call Forwarding, press the Call Forward softkey and then select your Call forwarding Mode using the Navigation buttons. Your choices are:
• All -- when this option is set, all incoming calls to your extension will be forwarded
• Busy -- if both your main line and call waiting line are in use, then incoming calls will be forwarded
• No Answer -- with this option set, your incoming calls will be forwarded only if you don't answer after a designated number of rings

Press the Change softkey to make your choice active. You also must change the Call Forward State from "Off" to "On" -- press the Change softkey again to make your choice active.
Once the State is set to "On," use the Navigation buttons to go to the Number section -- this is where you enter the extension or outside phone number that you want your calls forwarded to. Note that if you want to forward to an external number, you need to enter 9 plus the phone number.
Press Done to save your settings, then press Done again-- the light next to the Call Forward softkey will remain on while Call Forwarding is active. To deactivate, press the Call Forward softkey and set the State to "Off" by pressing the Change softkey -- press Done to save the settings, then press Done again.
