Wow, what a bummer. I somehow thought that if you got past with all your characters alive, you may even get to continue to the River Anduin.  Of course, why should I expect that when Boromir isn't even in the game?

This game could have been good. You have to admit, the music score is fantastic and the way you kill things is awesome. The graphics are pretty decent for 16-bit. I just wish Interplay put more effort into everything else.

They rotoscoped the characters in this game--the people they're thanking in the credits are the actors who were filmed to make the game sprites.

I can't believe this game had any playtesting whatsoever. Sam's AI did absolutely nothing at all! How'd they not notice that?
