I think the music of John Williams should belong to the world cultural heritage.

@peterSclarke That would be freaking awesome. I'd so buy that. I remember catching performances on TV as a kid.

@mbouman yes, that's what i think from what you say ... the editor is not a musician :) ...
-
@didiermartini Right. It seems an error in the original editing, not YouTube.
-
@mbouman ok, so if you say that the close up of williams are not in sync, but the other musicians are in sync, so it's not a youtube issue i think :)
-
@didiermartini The audio track is continuous and the video snippets have to be synced up with the audio. The first close-up of Williams is in sync. All close-ups of chorus and individual players are in sync. However, from the start up to minute 1:16 all close-ups of Williams have the audio downbeat on Williams' beat 2 of a 3-beat pattern. The close-up at 1:16 is in sync, but after that the shots of him have the musical downbeat on his beat 2.

@mbouman is it an issue in the video or it's normal ? because i m' an hearing impaired guy, and i can't check every video i send on youtube. and i can't check myself. so maybe there is a out of sync problem on the video that i'm not aware of. as nobody reported this problem until now ... so please, be more specific.
why aren't all these wonderful filmed performances of williams and the pops just released on a dvd?
