This first variation is technically pretty good, still needs some practice to refine it and some emotional element, I suppose, but otherwise the speed is right, and you've got the basis down.

Too many critics who're being too harsh. Also, everyone has their own personal variations to songs, you need only look as far as Sergio Tiempo's Chopin interpretations for proof. Keep practicing though, and then find the other variations/ harder versions! :)
