As the Deutschlandlied was writen Germany was broken into sever individual states like Saxony, Prussia, Bavaria and so on. So the "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, über alles in der Welt" want to say, that a united Germany is much more important as the interest of this individual states.
So now tell me, what this shall have to do with the WW2???

@makedonas86 Die Amerikaner haben nach dem Vietnamdesaster die deutschen Helme genommen, ihn zynisch "Fritz" getauft und seine Form abgeändert. Falls du das prüfen möchtest, such auf Wikipedia einfach nach "Helm". Seit dem ist diese Form der international gebräuchliche Standartnatohelm. Armbinden dieser Machart fanden bereits vor dem ersten Weltkrieg Verwendung und die Fackeln gehören seit den Landsknechten zum Zapfenstreich... das ist also das 16. Jahrhundert. Nazis haben das misbraucht.
