Nose landings are a very expensive way of messing up the landscape xD

There's a dive limit chart in the cockpit be shure to check it. Lol yeah due to the fact that if you gained to much speed in a dive it would render the control surfaces useless!!!

LOL!! @ 7:12 and beyond .... It should read; Warning, do not attempt to fly while on LSD. Seriously though, great film clip. Thanks for posting.

The recruit at the end of the flim has eaten some bad rye or he got loaded the night before.

These WW II flight training films are like time capsules into a very different era. And the planes are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Do we know who did the animation? It doesn't look like Disney.

Great airplane and great footage.

An interesting video. It's a bit incongruous, after so much detailed technical information, to end it all with a cartoon. I really enjoyed all of this, Thank you for posting.

Wow! Pilots had to be very sharp, no doubt.
The entirely mechanical nature of the WWII warbirds of all types, must look other wordly to people growing up in the computer age. I have worked on many things mechanical and electronic, and I gotta say that the young men (and more than a few women) who got their planes up off the ground must have had goosebumps and sweaty palms, even before they were deployed after training. How does a person absorb so much information!
Excellent I/II posts!

You might be surprised, a flight in the P-38 23 skidoo can be arranged thru the Air Museum Planes of Fame.
