An afternoon at Joe Station

Our fidgety rat terrier, Riggy, and irrepressible collie mix, Songdog, absolutely live for their Sunday afternoon visits to Joe Station Bark Park, a popular off-leash dog park located a mile west of downtown Tulsa on historic Charles Page Boulevard. Joe Station is one of my favorite places in Tulsa, partly because our dogs enjoy it so much, and partly because it's such a great example of grassroots community development -- the city provided the land (a former baseball diamond), and volunteers and private donors took care of the rest.
