I must say I want to thank you for making this tribute for Sgt Wallace. He was a great guy wonderful humble man and one of the best Marine's I have ever served with. Remember it like it was yesterday when he was just a Lance Corporal in 2003 and he worked with me so hard to help me get into the Marines all the fun talks we had all those long runs to the Terra from the recruiting station. I love you David you won't be forgotten Semper FI. I will mourn you until I am with you. You are a real hero

Thank you for sharing....such a beautiful tribute. My son, LCpl Wilder served in 3/8 Marines and was in Afghanistan when Sgt. Wallace was killed. My son said he was trained by Sgt. Wallace and he taught him everything he knows about demolitions. My son has the highest respect and thanks to him. Semper Fi.....Marine Mom
