Not very exciting this one - just discussing some considerations of how smaller frame martial movement evolved and how it is used. A film showing many different uses for a very fundamental kung fu / wushu movement will soon follow - this was just some stuff from the rather rambling intro that got edited out.

Here's a joke, as you've taken the trouble to click on "more info":
What's orange and sounds like a parrot?

A carrot!

of course it's even funnier in Spanish:

¿Cuál es anaranjado y suena como un loro?

¡Una zanahoria!

  • Since when do christians believe in science??

  • how many of the great Western scientists of the last 2000 years do you think were NOT Christians?!?

  • @martialtaichi

Great majority. :) As you probably know, there have been more great scientists in the last 50 years than during the rest of human history. And it is well known fact that overwhelming majority of them weren't and aren't christians. And with a good reason. OK, Isaac Newton comes to mind, but he also believed in alchemy! Besides, is there a greater enemy for your religion than logical thinking? If we could only ask Giordano Bruno...

  • @marcodangelo84

    erm... I'm a Jew.

  • @martialtaichi

If you believe in Judaism, that's way more absurd. Seriously. I could prove that to you easily, but I doubt you would listen... Anyway, you're a good teacher. Respect.

  • @marcodangelo84 Thanks.

  • "I'm sure the average Karateka would have you for breakfast" ha ha ha... now I'm the one ROFLMAO. I thought it possible that Chi might exist, I trained in Tai Chi for years, I became a registered instructor in the Tai Chi Union GB. I was training to teach Chigung when I realised the teacher was daft. He seriously believed the right brain controlled consciousness and the left brain the unconscious. I left the class. Shalom martialtaichi

  • @gordhill

continued: I don't need to believe in G_d or otherwise - He exists whether I do or not - He made you, me and the universe we live in :D So, I suppose, like almost everyone else in the world, according to you, I must have zero credibility, because I acknowledge our Creator. He is the cause of all. Existence itself, having no alternative explanation, IS the proof.

  • @gordhill

It gets funnier still - martial training is for defending yourself and others from harm. Murder is forbidden in the Torah. Do you refuse to use your martial arts unless they can be used to kill? That seems a very convenient way to never have to put them to the test. And once more your benevolent spirit is shining through. Give qi bunnies enough rope....

  • @martialtaichi UFC? MMA? Now you are showing your true colours! Taiji/baqua are for killing, not games. That you dont get that, well, I guess you wont. It would be a real shame to one day find out that you believed in God or something, because then, you would have zero credibility. While western medicine is moving closer every day to proving Eastern true (and Qi), God is still light years away from being proven.
