Well, one year from now Tampa will host the Republican National Convention in Tampa. Already the Tampa police are sweeping the town for homeless. To discourage the homeless from congregating in Downtown Tampa, the police are threatening to arrest groups (many are religious-affiliated) who feed the homeless. There is no City Code or ordinance. No reason. The news programs are citing that the reason is "complaints" from citizens. Really? Let's see these complaints. Maybe if there were JOBS there would be less homeless in downtown Tampa!
what the cops are doing is illegal....you need to lawyer up with NLG and/or the ACLU promptly.....contact National Coalition for the Homeless to report what's going on.....this is happening in cities across Florida at a rapid pace - not just related to Tampa's being a convention town but because of the 11th Circuit Court's terrible decision in the Orlando Food Not Bombs case......the State is a criminal enterprise more powerful than any mafia and its power needs to be confronted
