  • @dougspair thanks. i know 2 strokes turn usually into the double-digit thousands of RPMs so i wasnt sure if 2 stroke deisels got up to the same speed

  • @EATSLEEPDRIVE2002 the 2 stroke Detroits at 2,200 RPM, don't turn any faster than the 4 strokes at 2,200 RPM, but have twice the number of exhaust pulses, so they sound faster. Diesels in general turn slower than gasoline due to combustion speed, but the small car engines in Diesel get up to 4,000+ RPM.

  • one of the best engine sounds ive ever heard

  • @EATSLEEPDRIVE2002 *high rpms

  • now do 2 stroke diesels turn rather low rpms bcause theyre diesel or rather hugh rpms because theyre 2 stroke?

  • @DetroitDieselBob i like this sound;)

  • that thing sounds mean, kinda has a v8 gasser sound to it almost

  • turbo?

  • @Joeoski that wouldnt make any difference at all. removing the fan wouldnt make it spin quicker

  • @dlinecg You know remove the metal cooling fan and put a electric fan setup , so the motor spins up quicker .
