  • I'd have a huge problem if I was the building inspector seeing that the plumber busted out the footing. NEVER EVER DO THAT. The plumber doesn't care, this is done so the finished product is flush, 1:02. NO support on standing waste pipe for washing machine, DUMB, and as a plumber only extreme conditions would I ever come out of a wall on a 45 degree angle. Very difficult for other trades ie drywall cabinet maker..

  • @educatedrock Thanks for your comment! Just so you are aware, the waste pipe was left unsupported because we needed to move it, as I explained in the video. To support it would have been "dumb" as you say. We supported it once it was moved as well as installing a box for our water lines. As for the foundation, it was inspected and passed before and after the pour, and after the plumbing. We initially block all openings out with styrofoam, but needed to expand further in the spot you looked at.
