  • These idiots only care about gay people marrying because if gay people do marry and their magical old man doesn't flood the earth or turn them to salt then everyone will know their religous crap is just that...crap.

  • I seriously doubt that if same-gender marriage came down to the question of whether or not homosexuality is "unnatural, disgusting and deviant," a majority would side with your bigoted view.

I think most people would agree that teaching what you say to kids would be teaching intolerance, ignorance and bigotry. This is not the kind culture we want to foster for kids.

  • Notice how Tony Perkins dominates the conversation, not allowing Dan any opportunity to counter his arguments, and then accuses Dan of not allowing anyone else to speak! That's the way these right-wingers play their game: Drown others out with your screming and yelling, and then when anyone calls you on your bad behavior, play the victim. Boo hoo!

  • Dan owned Tony Perkins. People are seeing him for what he really is, a simpleton who somehow feels that he can predict what gay marriage will do...and it hasn't happened in IA, VT, CT, MA or DC, and RI and MD can join it soon. NY will be there soon I hope as a bill should be pending soon

  • @rackhamupd I like the dig honestly. I hate the fact that the religious right makes scapegoats of gay people but cry victim when people ridicule them for coming down on us and make us the bad guys

  • Did anyone else catch the irony that Tony Perkins shares a name with one of the biggest closet cases in cinematic history?

  • Go Dan! It's always refreshing to see him wallop right-wing nutbag bigots. His display of ageism was a bit disappointing, though...

  • "Denied rights" What rights are being denied... we all have the same rights .... we all live by the same laws. When your sexual choices/agendas become your priority to put on the national new media then expect to be hit. Values can clearly be seen here.

  • What a sad little country we live in.

  • Cont.

This clearly demonstrates a lack of understanding of the religion he is attacking. His point is partially valid and should have read, "the First Presidency (or highest body of leadership) had a letter read in every church (temples are much different)." If he can be wrong on such a basic point, how can he be trusted to give a correct viewpoint on things of a weightier matter. He epitomizes the very ignorance he claims to be against.
