You simpily can't explain it---you have to be in Heinz field to experience this. I remember buying Pieces Of Eight in 78' and loved the song from the start. Being from western PA, it simpily became an anthem over the years---GREAT VIDEO

Awesome video. The (Stealers) with a theme song about being killed by the long arm of the law. Irony is just God's sense of humor showing through.

It is such a cheesy song, but it does get everyone excited. Strange how it has become such an integral part of Steelers games.

Take it all in, this is what its like living in one of The Greatest Sports City on The Planet. For me growing up in the 70's this was one of our anthems along with so many others. The advantage of having this favorite song associated with our Beautiful City makes it all the better. A bit of advice for those not living in Pittsburgh , take the time to visit this city you may find yourself calling it your next home. No longer the smokey industral giant it once was now a world class city.
