    I'm going to look at the site details/instructions a bit, then I'm planning on getting on, right away.

    Do you by chance have a system to do a vertical lift of the camera as well? Everything I'm finding online to do that is crazy expensive.

  • @TheGadgetWorks Hi. TEMPUS infrared is 69USD. check it at tempus.bymac.org .TempusALL Mechanical Time-lapse is 149 USD (tempusALL.bymac.org ). I'm sure that at 399USD your device is aimed at professional well funded people. Tempus is directed to anyone who want to do Time-lpase photography with no complication or wires, and without spending a fortune.

  • @bymacorg According to the web site, the price for Tempus is $149, not $60. AutoMate costs $399. But like i said, it can make panning time-lapses, gigapixel panoramas, is programmable in many ways and can control a professional DSLR (all of which have wired remotes).  But the Tempus is a great option for the market it addresses. BTW, AutoMate can take up to 11 bracketed shots in HDR mode and almost no camera made today can do more than 3 and few P&S cameras can even do that.

  • @TheGadgetWorks Hi. Its a fixed device. no entended for pan. Automate works only for cameras with connector for a remote. TEMPUS works wireless for all cameras with infrared. TEMPUS ALL works with ALL cameras whatsoever. TEMPUS ALL can take multiple exposures at each interval HDR, yes. you can set your camera for HDR mode, and let TEMPUS ALL press the shutter for you. And then there is price: Tempus is 60 USD. How much is AutoMate?
