A school project that was assigned to us during a 12 week period. The task was to make a one minute rendered movie about a robot coming to life through the assembly of scrap parts.

I drew inspiration from Jules Verne's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, but also from steam punk films such as City of the Lost Children and Steamboy.

Rendered in Maya Software and edited in Sony Vegas. Motion Capture recorded and edited in Motionbuilder.

Most sounds are licensed under creative commons and authors can be found at http://script.tt.ltu.se/~dg05/davrot-5/samples.html
