Stu has a B.A. and M.A., from UCLA, plus college teaching credentials. He also attended ten years of trade school and college extension courses covering the gamut from computerology to electronics, astronomy, and management. He spent ten years in "Show Biz" including two years' association with Robert Cohen of Columbia Pictures. He is a former member of SFWA, WGAW, and is formerly National Executive VP of Science-Fantasy Writers of America (Ray Bradbury, President). He has published over 3 million words, plus half a dozen pocketbooks, as well some screen and TV credits. In International Management, he specialized in systems analysis, multi-country system installation, large-scale procurement and inventory control management (operations exceeding $100 million annual volume). He is multi-lingual, speaking Spanish and German as well as English. Stu has lived abroad for many years and traveled for Litton data Systems to NATO bases in Europe as Principal Engineering Writer and proposal survey rep.

Stu has been into Esoterica for over 30 years, starting with membership in the AFA. His research and participation in and with assorted esoteric groups and arcane schools, resulted in a 3-volume world concordance of all major metaphysical schools and systems, which further resulted in a mail-order lesson series called A.N.S.W.E.R. - Alliance of New Seekers of Wisdom, Ethics and Reason. What kept him from "ivory tower" isolationism was his 18 years as Engineering Writer for Litton Data Systems, writing all those maintenance and operation manuals on advanced weapons systems for the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force. With his feet firmly on the ground, Stu always sought to maintain a clear view of the "Mountain."
