The TwoNav product range, Aventura, Delta and Sportiva can handle 32GB cards but like all FAT32 based datacards (up to 32GB) are limited to 4GB sized files/maps/data

The new Garmin handheld GPS can handle 4GB datacards and more than 2GB maps. Models such as the Oregon series, 78 series, dakota series and Colorado series can handle 4GB datacards. The older 60 series, 76 series, eTrex series are still limited to 2GB maps and therefore you have to check to see if the map is biggerthan 2GB otherwise the older units will not read them.

i use a JVC Everio and the manual that came with it said i should use the brands listed and if i don't use these brands i may experience data loss when using a brand not listed in the manual.

I have the exact same video camera! Of course different brands have different quality control but even Sandisk cards may fail. They all do at some stage but the MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) varies but most are of similar longevity. Considering that there is only a few dollars difference between one brand over another it would be a good idea to stick to the top 5 brands such as Sandisk, Transcend, Apacer, Kingston etc.

In case you didn't know the new nintendo wii supports all types of SD Cards,as long as you have the adapter for mini and micro sizes

fact is ---as of early 2008 all of the worlds newest and best pro digital cameras use compact flash cards --there much faster at data transfer and can be built to be much greater gb size.---SD is fine but the pros use CF
