fuck this. I mean do you really need internet in your fucking car? Isn't your smart phone enough? Who the fuck needs a full laptop with slow as shit internet in a fucking car.

it really all depends on your location with clearwire it is the same as sprint 4g actually sprint owns the majority stock on clear also comcast owns a chunk too when i luved in minnesota i was getting 10 mbps easy in doors in a concrete apt complex... on my htc evo 4g cant even get a signal down here on houston and getting 4 mbps at best. but smart set up easy to connect to

I have done this setup as well, using the Clear Home Modem with Wifi, the Clear Home Modem uses a 12v 1AMP cord which can be purchased at Radio Shack... however my question is Why not just use a ClearSpot, its the same thing and the Upload speeds on mobile speeds are usually 1.77 Up ... Home Modems at 1.01up ... the only advantage I could see in install this modem perm into a car would be that you are going to add enhanced external antennas.. otherwise no difference from a Clear spot :)

wow, u seem like some pretty stupid people no offense, of course that works. but the point of the wireless hotspots is because they are much less hassle to set up, u hit a button and its done.

-
Wow, if this is 4g that mean my internet is like 6g, my internet can fully buff a 6 minutes video in 720p in 15 secomd.

You might aswell buy the on the go one.
and finally @icefire555 -
people who this they are smart deserve the most smart ass answers
wifi hotspot has a ridiculously small internal antenna and can sometime take more time to setup than the homemodem, and after all the hassle you cant even get a decent signal. honestly if you think what we did in the video is a hassle then you shouldnt even be allowed around any internet source, ( no offence) and what we were attempting to demonstrate is the diversity of a HOME modem, stupidity revoked

wow havent updated this thing in almost a year. lets start at the bottom
@js11410 - not moving cause we were at work
@gocountry1391 - they advertise 6 to 10 mbps but most of the time it only gets around 3, if that
@young beast & AGazamiseh - yeah obviously when there running at 5 and 6G around the world there are alot of faster speeds but for the price withouth contract we couldnt find a better solution
