Matt is Right. No one really starts which a plan. It's so important that you do. You need to sit down and write out your routine. Record everything. Weight/reps etc. Take before pictures. Progress pictures, weekly/monthly etc. Plan out your meals and count calories. Figure out what you want to do. Gain muscle or cut the fat. You will put more in your efforts cause you planned everything out like a mission.
It works, trust me.

@joelgartland Why don't you try a cure of raw foods? Eat purely green, fruit and nuts. I am pretty convinced it will help you lose the extra fat you have ;) And when it comes to your diabetes, it will make it disappear. Raw food is known to lower diabetes levels. In my case, i am trying to eat as much raw/vegeterian (veggie, fruit and nuts) as possible. Best way to gain muscle while staying lean!

matt, any advice on losing fat for people with diabetes? im in decent shape at the moment and have gained a fair amount of muscle in the past few months, but the problem i have is losing that bit of fat that will make me more defined. I attempted doing more cardio then eating less on the night, but i always wake up during the night needing something to eat. Any help bud?

@joelgartland Hey man, sorry.. Unfortunately I don't know much about diabetes or training advice for people with diabetes. Whereas macronutrient counting and utilization is the ultimate, smaller steps help too... Perhaps keeping what you eat constant from a day to day basis, not necessarily weighing it out. Keeping exercise constant as well, and then moving from there, adding (cardio) and/or subtracting (food) small steps at a time, giving yourself at least a week between changes..

Dude, you have already reached the aesthetic level. So what is this pursuit for? You are more aesthetic than Zyzz to be honest.
