I don't waste my time going to these expos its just crap anyway "Dollar bill ya'll"
-
You know what..its not about hair. My mother and I just spoke about her black women don't unite with one another. It's sad really .. not All black but some have nasty attitudes.
-
Why are you apologizing to these ppl? You felt how you felt. I'm so sorry for ppls actions.
-
please this expo is about making money.!!!!!!!!!!!! all this products are the same shit that's been on the market since the 60's. black people taught to hate their appearance from slavery .
-
@SistaWithRealHair I agree! I've seen tons of dark skinned women with loose curl textures get shade, it's all about insecurities not skin tone imho.
-
@blkbarbied How do you know she didn't?
-
@blkbarbied i dnt need to know her to know tht she is too sensitive,an lacks confidence an ppl skills, an i dnt care if the situation was in reverse an she had hair like a sheeps ass if she would hv went in their positive with a smile an ready to mingle she could hv had a good time.
I'm a DARK SKINNED and I can relate!
Growing up...my hair was waste length with a cury texture.
Sadly I experienced the SAME discrimination (and I'm dark) so...it really has nothing to do with color (in my opinion) but rather the insecurites that have been brain washed into our culture. The reality (unfortunate truth) these issues NEVER be resolved within our community!
You're confident & strong...so you will move past this!

@StarSpell5
No one pushed me out, but I will remove myself from an uncomfortable situation. It was a waste of time to stay in an environment like that.
