I have a 97 7.3 and it don't smoke at all.... even with 16,000 plus pounds on it. The only time it does it the first crank of the day.

It smokes well when the trailer is on the truck....
But the truck is for sale 5500 OBO. I am going to buy a Crew Cab 96/97 Powerstroke.
