it's funny how i think choppers are boring cuz they slow down the games but i also think that they're really playing strenuously cuz chopping is hard to do!

but yeah, she could definitely attack more. if anything, she needs work on returning powerful attacks to her extreme backhand side. unfortunately, that'll always be hard and a very uncomfortable area of the table to defend from powerful attacks.

it would be pretty cool if kim could figure out how to throw in backhand attacks. i've only seen forehand attacks from her.

to the extent that i've seen (which isn't really much, so don't quote me on this), kim's footwork has actually gotten a lot better than it used to be. liu shiwen's placement, especially to the extreme backhand side, also improved quite a bit also, so kim still has a lot of problems with her in this game. but kim's definitely gotten a lot better. liu shiwen used to not even break a sweat against her. this time liu almost lost the first game.
