Fake 4GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo from Ebay

Aware: User 4GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo. Caution this item may be fake/ fraudulent. I purchased one from a user and had to post a claim towards him, he refunded my money back. Symptoms I have experienced: Unable to exceed at least 2.5 GB worth of space without problems such as corrupted data forming onto my PSP that I can not remove unless I format the entire card over and over again. Lost of data due to fake memory source. Inability to save PSP game files to memory for it is fake. I did not find out until after I had posted a good response. The one that I received did not support magic gate and is equivalent to the fake descriptions shown on these pages.

P.S. My PSP supports 4GB cards.

I would like to correct that If it says Magicgate: Unknown or Unsupported you MAY have a FAKE memory stick. (Im Not saying that you do).

I am aware of this, I understand file structures. This Video has nothing to do with the limitations of the file capacity.

The Memory Card had adequate amount of space matching that of a Genuine Memory Stick, however as mentioned before data was not able to exceed the level of at least 2.5GB. Should the data exceed that of 2.5GB the Memory Stick will become corrupted.

Genuine Memory Sticks with the capacity of 4GB does not corrupt data that exceeds beyond the size of 2.5GB.

The Space is not an issue here.
The faulty/fake Memory Stick is an issue here.

I have this exact card... its not so bad, provided you use it correctly... I format it on winxp fat32 then insert after booting the psp with a real magic gate card. Then swap and reformat the fake on the psp. Problem solved!

dude there is a way to make it into a magic memory stick real or fake

just use easus repartion master 8.0.1 Home Edition i used it to reformat my memory stick so that i could reserve enough space on it for the ipl . is you use mark2 this is the program for you ..mark2 are the ones that are developed by sony they give little space for you to insert ipl by the way if u dont know the ipl is what makes the psp with the pandorized battery inserted to reboot . good luck. :p
