El preparador Galpin Auto Sports y la fuerza aérea de los Estados Unidos se han unido para la creación de dos de los autos más espectaculares del mundo. Sobre la base de un Dodge Challenger y un Ford Mustang y utilizando tecnología empleada por la U.S. Air Force, los dos vehículos será utilizados en las labores de reclutamiento de este brazo del ejército americano. Sus nombres: X-1 Mustang y Vapor Challenger.
Super Car Tour. Ese es el nombre que la U.S. Air Force ha dado ha su nueva estrategia de reclutamiento. La rama de la aviación del ejército estadounidense ha tenido problemas en los últimos años para atraer a jóvenes a sus filas, por lo que ha previsto métodos más persuasivos, entre ellos visitar directamente High Schools y patrocinar varios eventos relacionados con la automoción, como la Battle of Imports, la Formula Drift o las Hot Import Nights. Dos espectaculares vehículos, llamados X-1 Mustang y Vapor Challenger, serán los grandes protagonistas.
