Long range marksmanship shooting a milk jug at 700 yards with the Brown 97D Rifle and 6.5mm BRM cartridge shooting Berger Bullets. Demonstrating accuracy and power with mild recoil. Applicable to deer hunting, antelope hunters, elk hunting, and target shooters. The 97D is a single shot rifle of modern design.

  • Ruger #1 vs Model 97D - The 97D has advantages in accuracy and trigger design. Unlike the Ruger, there are no harmonics creating machinery in the forend. Where Rugers CAN be accurate, 97Ds are ALWAYs accurate. And, all 97D's come with a trigger job of approximately 24 oz. Ruger #1's come with heavy triggers and trigger jobs are difficult to get good results from. The Ruger #1 is a very nice rifle, but these are significant and real differences.

  • good shot sir that was interesting

  • Thank you! It was lots of fun to set up. Our latest shooting trick videos are shooting aspirins at 50 and 100 yards. Wind makes it difficult even at shorter distances.

  • Small target at 700 yrds, nice shot.

  • Thanks for your nice comment. We had a lot of fun setting that all up to catch it on video.

  • @Xprez308 Thanks for the heads-up... Yes it was the BERGER brand of bullets. The story and equipment are explained on our website under Customer Reviews.

  • @Mr97DRifle you mean "Berger".....?

  • About 500 yds in front and to the right of the shooter's line of sight. About 200 yds from the target.

  • How far away was the camera from the shooter?

  • Translation: "Beautiful video, congratulations. Good shot". To which I reply: Muito obrigado, eu agradeço o seu elogio!
