  • that was awesome, from the comments below i now understand more how it all works, however i have one question what are the black stick things in the video that slow varying partical's, is it the Higgs Field and whats that if it is, do we know what its made from or of ?? am i 2understand partical's slow down due to the increase of Higg's attachment or field in which they travel. which allows us to see them in the visible spectrum, creating the illusion of mass? they re are indeed many questions..

  • @BrandonFurtwangler tachyons move faster

  • hard to explain on a comment, but temperature is not velocity. It's the average energy of motion of a particle. Matter existed, so temperature always existed.

Mass and matter aren't the same. The property 'mass' of matter didn't manifest itself until temperature cooled down.

Because space was expanding, particles had more space to expand too, so they cooled down. You know from thermodynamics that a hot gas when expanded cools. Same thing with the proto-universe.

  • @kriptonis All things which have no mass move at the same speed (the speed of light). So if temperature is movement as you say, then how can it cool before mass exists. All things are moving at the same speed...they can't slow down without mass.

  • temperature is the amount of movement. More movement more temperature.

  • light is affected by gravity, it's best example is a black hole. A black hole is black because light cannot escape it and reach our eyes, therefore we don't see it.

    light has a particle/wave duality.

  • right, photons have no trouble passing through a door, that's why we can't have a dark room no matter how hard we try.

    xD

  • @BrandonFurtwangler heat is energy which mass can play a vital part why temperature is present or not present by changing the mass. Does this makes sense?

  • How can the temperature 'cool' before the mass existed? I dont see how temperature makes sense when everything is moving at the speed of light.

  • Good. You wouldn't be a scientist if you didn't.
