I find it a little sad that people think this is serious and non-questionnable, that there is an "absolute truth" behind this presentation. This whole Secret thing is taking itself too seriously, with a pseudo-philosophical and historical background. At least the posititves-thoughts techniques described seems to work for some people, and I guess that's what's important!

What a sham! You want the "real truth" - it is not wishing for desires, but accepting what is, good or bad. Life does not happen to us, life is us. We decide what we feel about everything...no material or immaterial object can create desire, only ourselves. And to anyone who thinks that this film is in some way Buddhist, think again.
