Updating iPhone firmware for the very first time (2.0.1)

2.0.1 was just released today. If you are like me, this is my first legit iPhone and the first time I've ever updated the firmware without having to worry about whether or not I will brick the phone or my apps will work.

yeah me too i got update today the 2.0.1 hey do you have any idea how to downgrade to 2.0 or 1.1.4 ??? 2.0.1 is sucks

You could probably download the 2.0 firmware from somewhere, search for it on google, the restore to it in itunes by clicking shift+restore then select it. I don't see the difference between the two though.

no it doesnt. comes up with an error. well have to wait for willdta to come out with the ipsw.
