fascinating. very feasible that we over looked the engineering ingenuity of our ancetsors. perhaps the most striaght forward answer is the correct one.

Okay so that puts the pillars in, but how about the slabs that go on top to connect the pillars?

this guy is freaking smart! nicelogin you say try and lift a heavy block to get a pebble under it didnt you see the long leaver boards he uses to move them around with a long sturdy on of those you could easily tip a giant rock to get the small stones under it, heavy + leverage equals movable, besides its not like modern equipent that hangs the weight like cranes juse leverage physics and simple gravity, think tipping point go roll rocks on a mountain then youll see what he is talking about

I guess all the people during the Stonhenge time were engineers.....?

How did they move the stones to their final postions?

When you think again, there are more questions to ask about how he set his stones ready, then to raise or to turn the stones. How are you able to lift a big stone and place a small rock underneath it? He has certainly raised the big stones, but that doesn't proof that it was the way the people did it back then.

In this video, I see a custom made tool that looks quite alike to the one Ed used, for building his Coral Castle.

Top stone first. Skaffold will hold top stone and the vertical stones will be fitted with the same technique used to raise his obelisk.
