WHO ARE THE 144,000? Find out for yourself, now!

Common conception about the 144,000 has changed steadily. Today, in USA, one common conception is that they are evangelical Jews that God uses to spread the gospel. This view is not as common outside of USA, and this view is not directly shown in scripture. The truth is that God doesn't just do things of importance in a certain way just to be fanciful and interesting. Too much is at stake. Almost everything God does with man is necessary, because His grace is so absolute, it narrows His actions to be in the best interest of man who has limited his godliness by sin. God cannot force people to be saved, for many reasons including that after voluntarily giving Satan legal ownership of their souls, the only way to be free from that ownership is for man to voluntarily accept the price paid by Jesus to legally void that bondage. If forcing people to choose God would set them free, God would have done that with everybody or a lot of people already, so it is not accurate to assume that God would simply choose 144,000 Jews and automatically convert them to believers. Why didn't He do so before? Please note also that the teaching that Jews can be saved without believing in Jesus is errant. All the Old Testament religion was a connection to Jesus' atonement. No Jew past, present or future is saved by Judaism. We can only be saved by grace through Jesus alone. The point I am making is to set you at ease on the accuracy of how I identified the 144,000. If you choose to disagree, do remember that we may never agree on certain things until Jesus returns, when we will know in full. The Holy Spirit would differentiate in your spirit when an errant teaching takes away fundamental truth, from when it is just partial ignorance that is acceptable due to the fact that we know in part right now. Differences in opinion on the 144,000 should be accepted. So disagreeing should not make me or you unchristian. However, I will stand by my opinion because God revealed them to me when I wasn't seeking for the meaning of Revelation, or expecting to understand it. I didn't understand what I do by researching. God interrupted my bible-reading to explain these things to me. And He didn't just give me the meaning of many of the events that will occur; He showed me why they must occur and how some of them will occur. He didn't give the meaning of every single event, but those which He held back, He showed me something about them, and why they were to remain mysterious for now. Now back to the 144,000. Assuming there are actually 144,000 believing Jews who can preach the gospel in the tribulation (and maybe that's a given, I'm not quite sure about the quantity of believing Jews in the world today), if we assume that their being sealed means that they cannot be killed or persecuted, we contradict other portions of scripture that show that all Christians during those days will be persecuted and eventually killed. The assumption of the 144,000 Jews as specially protected evangelists comes from the idea that after the "rapture", the earth no longer has Christians on it, and so God must automatically create witnesses for Him (but automatically creating witnesses out of people who haven't chosen to believe is not even an option). On the contrary, after the rapture, some unsaved Christians and non-Christians discover what has happened and become saved. The wise will understand what has happened (Daniel 12:10). A revival will erupt through them, but it will take some time for that revival to occur. Many Jews will be saved later in those days as well as many people in all nations. The Jews that become saved will realize who Jesus was to them. Not all Jews will be saved, even in those days. A fundamental error prevalent in America regarding the interpretation of Revelation is that the revelations are obvious... God made them so. That is not the case. Their meanings are very hard to find... and truthfully, impossible, in most areas, to accurately find unless directly handed by the Holy Spirit. This is also true for all of prophecy in the bible. The 144,000 Jews represent already saved, late, Old Testament Jews (and some foreigners) or before-Calvary Jews who will be resurrected to new life in God's exquisite domain about the same time we who are alive and remain are raptured. To differentiate between them and the numerous OT Jews in heaven, watch the video. Will the 2 witnesses be Moses and Elijah? Watch the next videos on the series to find out. • anyways, if you cant get to the place of safety, but god will put you under his wing, to learn more about the place of safety, type in The wilderness, the place of safety by bro marlin, thecoichicago is his username, god is making a place habitant for his chosen people, the ones that follow his laws and commandments, Now I wana see Jesus, Do you?

  • @Tylerunderfire there are saints in heaven right now. Read 2 Corinthians 12:2-4

  • great explanation. it makes sense because the new testament teaches that the only way to have everlasting life is through Christ. the old testament jews didn't know it at the time- their animal sacrifices represented Jesus. So the ones that kept the faith will be resurrected at the rapture. Thanks for the explanation!

  • @Freedish911 you are welcome. God bless.

  • The Bible tells you who they are. They are the followers of Christ who survive the Great Tribulation, and are descended from those tribes. Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.”And he said, “These are they WHO HAVE COME OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7: 13,14

  • @whittle4u You are making the mistake of applying traditional terminology to the bible. The great tribulation came out from is this era we are in which the bible repeatedly calls the tribulation. The use of the word "tribulation" to signify exclusively what the bible describes as the last 7 years before Jesus return is a traditional use of the word, not a biblical one - it helps us have a name for the last 7 years. But biblical text does not impose such a specification to the use of the word

  • @RogVMax I'm interested in hearing your definition of the word "Gospel." Also, Jesus IS christianity. He is the way truth and the light. How does one justify Jesus as not being good news (gospel)? As far as your use of the word "role" to describe Jesus. It's not like he was some random guy who needed to be randomly sacrificed to a volcano god. Jesus did not play a role, he fulfilled a prophesy and saved those who accept him as the messiah upon his return.

  • If you know your bible it says that israel will be scattered into all nations! Duet 28: 64...AND THE LORD WILL SCATTER YOU AMOUNG ALL NATION, FROM ONE END OF THE EARTH EVEN TO ANOTHER. This explains Rev 7: 9 about the different tribes, nations and tongues, these are israelites currently residing in if different nations. The word rapture is not even in the scriptures!

  • It is not the Church! where did it say that in the verse!? It clearly states in Rev 7: 4 who the 144000 is ......AND I HEARD THE NUMBER OF WHO WERE SEALED 144000 OF OF OF!!!! ALLL THE TRIBES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL! ....12000 of each tribe of israel its list EACH tribe!

  • @LambAndTheDragon Then maybe you should read 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, then 1Corinthians 15:50-54, then maybe Colossians 3:4, and how about 1Peter 5:4. That should help you for awhile. I can also give you Scripture from the Old Testament.

  • @JesusHoldMyHand1 No, I'm not a Harold camping follower, and where did you see me say anything about the coming of Jesus? I don't read the bible? Look at the math right under your nose.....6000 years puts you at 2000 AD....A countdown that has already begun......Take a deep breath before you shoot your mouth off next time "JesusHoldMyHand" ....."If your eye offends you, pluck it out," was not a message for the sinner, but one for the self righteous.

  • @LambAndTheDragon Are you a Harold Camping follower? I know you definately don't read the Bible. "So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do NOT expect Him." Matthew 24:44

  • 144,000 is a time stamp.....6 literal days = 144 hours....Now read 2 Peter 3:8 .....6000 days = 6000 X 24 hours = 144,000 hours

  • JAHUSUHA (jesus) Ancestors are BLACK!!!!! The 144,000 that 'YAH' speaks of are The 12 Tribes Of ISRAEL ( BLACK PEOPLE) Gods Choosen Ones!!! NO OTHER!! People STOP Trusting In 'PAUL~ LETTERS' and Trust In 'YAH'

  • @cornerstone111 Christ has fulfilled what?

  • @RogVMax It is Christ who fulfilled this, He is God.
