oh come on he was tryin to sit fly and was out performing his instructors.... bet ya he wont make that mistake again... LOL, oh the 8 sec. thing..... no the reserve parachute would have opened before that remaining time

That happened to me too on my first base jump. My instructor pulled my cord after lossing control base jumping off a cliff. I was going to pull my reserve.
