The Rainbow Serpent participates in the creation of the world in so many of the Aboriginal Myths of Dreamtime. This version is an amalgamation, but based largely on the work of Dick Roughsey.

@lewisfamily8383 I do not know a lot about language groups although i am aware this story varies quite a bit

@lewisfamily8383 There are myths about the Rainbow Serpent among several aboriginal groups of Australia, but this version is typical of northwestern peoples living in the Kimberley (bajd, njol, djao, ngadadjara, karadjeri, walmadjeri, djaro and so on). Rich Serpent myths abound also among the peoples living around the Van Diemen Strait (kakadu, umoriu, jeimbio, etc.).
