Please stay tuned and watch the season premiere: I will do my weekly Vblogs on the show and spoil every episode as well.
As you may all now or not know by now that I made this dress by hand to show at the casting calls in Los Angeles.

I swore not to mention anything regarding the process and I have been good, This evening you will find out if I made it or not.

Today is July 16th 2008 and the show airs at 9pm PST on Bravo TV.

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

My old remarks to my viewers before heading to see Tim Gunn.
"Thank you to everyone who has wish me luck tomorrow for Project runway season 5 casting.

This dress I started to make by scratch took me 4 days, with well over 20 hours of hand sewing and made to measure: Size 4- waistline is 26 inches.

I will come back for sure Tuesday and will keep you posted on what happen.

I will also make a special art video from the very beginning to the end."

  • I love the hat and neck, is it chiffon? *kisses*

  • Organza Silk exactly one yard.

  • Hmmm... doesn't look very couture - the fabric selection is very in your face and is dated, the styling is too simple for a couture piece. Good effort nonetheless. Never stop doing what you love - let criticism challenge and build you as a designer. :)

  • I love constructive criticism from people who know about fashion, not from a 2o year old who probably only sees couture on youtube!

  • honestly its really not couture .dun overuse this word .couture is kind of the dress which 2 french ladies sitting in a room working 9-5 for 2 months to make .

  • Obviously you did not see the past 10 videos before these one. Don't talk if you can't read the description.

  • Oh dear god. im awfully sorry considering his cloyed and horrible collection for the finale. He is not as a good as you by any means.

  • lose the belt and the hat. You're going to costumy....speaking from experience...i've been designing clothes for the past 10 years

  • I loove how much you are having fun. That's passion.

  • Personally i wouldn't wear any thing like this but i guess i like the cape/hood idea, otherwise yes it is busy, the fabrics don't look to great with the cape and the colors are to much way to much lack of . . . (how can i put this)the patterns on the dress don't go together either. Srry great Design though.

  • I personally feel it is very busy yet it does have sum really good design elements like the cape it will make for a good runway element as its not been shown on to many runway shows in the past few years and also it does have a very distinct vintage look , I think you could have kept it more simple in fabric choices and you call it a couture dress , it really isn't that at all it might be the start of couture but the finish item isn't there yet, overall I wish you luck you show sum talent

  • I like your construction skills, very clean. But i feel the prints of the upper and lower part of the garment are clashing. I wouldn't call it couture either coz i feel the silhouette clashes to the phrase. Anyhow, i wish you luck and would love to see more of you.

By the way, how did the runway casting go? Did you get through?

  • Oh and the hat is too 'Christian Siriano' from last season.

  • Oops, sorry! I know you said that but I posted the comment before the video was over, but the neck is truly a work of art, I'm rooting for you and good luck! *kisses*
