  • "The entire 3 seasons of the original Star Trek, with enhanced special effects (which are very well done) is now available on iTunes--and other online sites."

  • I agree!!!.

that era of voyager was amazing till it ended, that two parter where you had like 12 Borg cubes trying to batter that one ship and they were getting utterly pounded...man that scene blew my ind...

...Scorpion I think it was called?

  • But every one of the aliens that is in star trek that poses as a god is actually relived to just be advanced aliens!.

  • :) actually for me it was seven of nine..

and the whole Borg interaction..voyager more than next gen was more about the Borg.

  • The entire 3 seasons of the original Star Trek, with enhanced special effects (which are very well done) is now available on iTunes--and other online sites.

I watched the original ST "live" (not reruns) and my Dad used to repeatedly interrupt the show to say, "Man, that guy can't act!" (Shatner of course). As I matured I realized that he was right, but what he did was SO wrong! :P

  • "is that the one . . . "

Yep, that's the one. Clearly, the people in the Federation of TOS have some form of religion that recognizes some form of the divine. The Enterprise even has a chapel.

  • ha ha ha ha, is that the one where apollo fades away at the end?

  • Always in the third person!. the star trek original crew were all part of an atheistic society!.

  • "Who weeps for Adonis!!!!!"

Right, in "Who Mourns for Adonis," Apollo tells the landing party that they will worship him like a god. Kirk replies that they have one God and that's enough. You can take that in a couple of ways; clearly, one of those ways is theistic.
