The doctors shake their heads. The nurses strap me in bed.
Try to figure out what's goin' on in my brain.
They say this boys gone mad. It makes my mommy so sad.
Could they be right now, am I really insane?
Lonely days and sleepless nights. Evil thoughts that cause me fright.
My minds screwed up and I must be one scary sight.

Just because I'm acting a little strange. Who are you to say that I'm insane?
You see this world it seems all right with me. And it's the place that I choose to be.

I sit and stare, I don't talk too much. And my skin is cold to the touch.
When I play games, other kids say I play too rough.
Things don't seem right to me. Why don't they let me be?
Loosen this jacket now, stop stickin' needles in me.
Just free me from this cell. My own demented hell.
Undo these chains now 'cause I got a story to tell.
