  • I see someone has put 'better dead than red'. This is only a slogan invented by the right wing press to manipulate the opinion of the masses. Do you want to be a slave forever? You shouldrealize that 95% of wealth is in the hands of 5% of the population, and owned by the same families for generations. e.g. the Bush family. Think for yourself; don't believe the papers

  • absolutely true and never more essential than now! We must oppose this fascist government with all our strength and determination. If we don't we shall lose all our welfare rights and benefits such as tthe NHS, state schools and higher education, and pesion rights. Fight now or lose everything!!!

  • @Adam123620 to join , to support , to criticise.. every movement that stands for the oppressed....

  • @chrisperry42 Exactly! A better example would of been the vile, evil Rothschild dynasty...that damned family controls near all the American wealth and is running the world economy into the ground in order to redistribute all the wealth to them.

  • This song is not about creating socialist United States like you reds on here believe, its about getting fair wages back in the early part of the 20th century. freedom > Socialism. I would rather be dead then red. unions are no longer needed in this country.

  • @Adam123620 It is a union for the workers. The song is advocating that workers stand together for fair treatment and wages. The ironic thing is the man who wrote the lyrics became an anti-socialist after harsh criticism from being accused of trying to spread socialism to the US after the Bolshevik Revolution, and now it is used by socialists mostly. It was written by Ralph Chaplin in 1915.

  • Bring back the Wobblies

  • @chrisperry42 sooo true!!!!! great Comment!!
