2007 Mustang GT S197 No Cats, Mac X Pipe, Stock Mufflers

i just got my cats cut out earlier today with pypes violator mufflers.... and i have to say, im putting the stock mufflers back on because its just way too loud, sounds like a pickup truck with straight pipes on it, plus theres neighbors and cops, also kind of like the growl the stock mufflers have to offer

I really think the Corsas sound great with a high flow cat setup. Perfect in my book.

lol yeah i love the way corsas sound and all but theyre pretty pricey, also high flow cats cost about just as much. so the 80$ i spent getting the cats deleted and the hour or so to re-install the stock mufflers were totally worth it :D

im very seriously considering swapping my mid muffler system out and putting the stock mufflers back on. do you like this setup?

It's very nice. No drone, moderately aggressive sounding. What wrong with the mid muffler setup?

it was too loud for the neighbors, plus i was growing old of it too.

yeah no matter what you do its hard to achieve that awesome sound the older models made, ford completely redid everything so we have to do extra just for a good exhaust note. the mid mufflers with offroad setup reminded me of a helicopter, no offense lol

just went out today and cut out the cats! MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! i absolutly love the throat in it! great post!

yeah makes it wonder just how restrictive those two lil cats were to block out that much sound, i was astounded when i got mine done, and in love :)
